|A playful 45 minute movement education class designed for the Walking to 3.5 year old child with an adult. It is designed to foster age appropriate motor skills through moving and exploring. The obstacle courses and activities change every two weeks to give new challenges and lots of fun.|
Preschool (3 to 4.5 year olds)/Super Tots (4 to 5.5 year olds):
|A 45 minute class for children that are ready to stay with a group and follow a teacher's instructions. Children are introduced to basic skills and coordination tasks on all the equipment and work on more complex skill as they are ready.|
|A one hour class for girls and boys between 5.5 and 7 years old. Beginning and more difficult skills on each event are introduced as the children are ready.|
Kids in Action:
|A 1.5 hour class for girls and boys between 7 and 12 years old. Children are introduced to all Olympic apparatus- vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise as well as the trampoline and tumble trak. Basic skills, strength and flexibility are taught at this level.|
|A 1.5 hour class for girls 11 years old and up. This class uses the same curriculum as the Kids in Action class but is taught with the teenager in mind.|
|A 1.5 hour class that is offered to boys between 6 and 10 years old. In this class the boys are introduced to the rings, parallel bars, floor exercise and vault. Trampoline and tumble trak are also part of the curriculum. Basic skills, strength and flexibility are taught at this level.|
|A 1.5 hour class for children 7 years old and up. A bridge kick over is a prerequisite skill to take this class. Each child is encouraged to acquire and polish basic skills and learn more difficult skills as they are ready.|
|This class meets 2 or 3 times per week for 2 hours. A round off back handspring is a prerequisite skill to take this class. This class works to refine basic skills as well as teach the more complex gymnastics skills. Participants in this class have the choice to compete locally with the Mason Dixon league. You do not have to enroll your daughter in the Mason Dixon League in order to participate in the Advanced Class. If your child is not interested in competing, she is still welcome in the class.|
Tumbling & Trampoline:
|A one hour class for preteens and teens. It is well suited for students that want to incorporate gymnastics into another sport or activity such as cheerleading, baton twirling, karate or diving. It is a good alternative class for gymnastics students that just want to tumble. Our instructors start with the current skill level and interest of the student and help them polish basic skills and move onto more difficult skills as they are ready.|
Baby Angels: By invitation only.
|This class meets twice per week for one hour. This class is geared for children 4 to 6 years old. Emphasis is on strength, flexibility and coordination.|
Lil Angels: By invitation only.
|A 1.5 hour class that meets twice per week for children 5 to 7 years old. Emphasis is on strength, flexibility and coordination. Curriculum includes Levels one and two of the USA Gymnastics (www.usa-gymnastics.org) Junior Olympic Program.|
